FAQ

Question

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by May 8th so we can fully prepare for your attendance.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are welcome! We just ask that you let us know how many people are coming with you so we can have enough for everyone.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes. While we don’t have a staffed nursery, children are welcome as long as they can remain quiet during the ceremony. They are also welcome at the reception. Nursery rooms are available if needed.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

While we don’t have a rigid dress code, we ask that guests dress formally.

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking in front of and to the side of the church.

Question

Are the wedding and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are having both the ceremony and reception inside the church’s facilities. We will gather outside for the send off at the end of the reception.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our wedding and as such, we ask that you not interfere with her or take your own photos during the ceremony or cake cutting. Just relax and enjoy yourself. Feel free to take photos other times in the day however, and please share them with us! We would love to see more scenes from our special day that we might otherwise miss.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

We will not be having any dancing at our reception.

Question

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

No, there will not be any alcohol in the church.

Question

What COVID-19 precautions will be required?

Answer

At this time, we are not planning on requiring masks or vaccinations for our guests. Depending on how the pandemic recovery progresses, we may have to limit in-person attendance or require the unvaccinated or all guests to wear masks if the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District requires such at the time of the wedding. We encourage guests to stay safe and do their parts to hasten the end of this pandemic. In any event, guests will be free to wear masks as desired. We will update this site with more information as the day draws closer.
